Mabawa Music Video
About the project
“Mabawa” is the second single from Masterpiece, the fourth studio album by Juliani, one of Kenya’s most established hip-hop and gospel artists with over 16 years in the industry. I directed and produced the music video.
Beyond direction, the engagement covered production management: sourcing and coordinating the camera and lighting crew, overseeing the shoot from concept execution through to final cut, and capturing a behind-the-scenes companion piece alongside the main video.
- Creative direction and shot planning
- Crew sourcing — 2 cinematographers, lighting technician
- On-set production management
- Videography for the official music video
- Behind-the-scenes documentation. Check it out below.
